Wilton Calaway Williamson Jr., age 84, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson County on January 12, 1931, he was the son of the late Wilton Calaway Williamson, Sr. and the late Sally Mae Hunt Williamson. He proudly served in the United States Armed Forces for 39 years, first during the Korean War Conflict and then with the Army National Guard for 35 years. He also was a charter member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Locke Williamson of Belton, SC; two sons, David Williamson (Tammy) of Columbia, SC and Mark Williamson of Belton, SC; sister, Wilma Smith of Columbia, SC and four grandchildren, Kyle, Eric, Cal, and Fenn Williamson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Patricia Williamson and sisters, Josephine Levings and Jacqueline Branyon. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
