Woodrow Eugene Bailey, 98, of Anderson, SC passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. Born July 24, 1919 in Hartwell, GA, he was a son of the late Morgan Lee Bailey and the late Eliza Ethridge Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his son, Mickey Bailey; brothers, Cullen and Junior Bailey and sisters, Bertha Rice and Lessie Hudgins. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Eady (Jim) of Winder, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Connally, Leigh Anne Boswell, Kim Barker and Michelle Gehman and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm Wednesday with Rev. Andrew Webb and Rev. Bobby Boswell officiating. Interment will be in New Silver Brook Cemetery.
