Yvonne Jeffcoat, age 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at her home.

Born February 8, 1937, in Swansea, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ashley Rucker and Virginia Lucas Williamson. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Lawrence Orr Hammett III.

Yvonne was a longtime member of Boulevard Baptist Church and a member of the Talmadge Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker, a member of the Mimosa Garden Club, enjoyed playing Bridge, and loved bird watching from her home. She had also served as a former Girl Scout Leader. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, which was the love of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Jeffcoat; a son, Kenny Jeffcoat (Mary Helen); daughters, Rosalind J. Hammett, Sharon J. Allen (Chuck), and Phyllis Kinsey (Eddie); a brother, Ronnie Long; grandchildren, Lawrence Orr Hammett IV, Jacob Hammett, Josh Allen (Taylor), Miranda A. Boan (Blair), Callie A. Pressley (Al), Chase Kinsey (Kayla), Kristen Hearne (David), Travis Jeffcoat (Ashley), Anna Lamphear (Nick), Allie Jeffcoat and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Boulevard Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
