ANDERSON, SC'Mr. Zannie E. Bowman, Jr., age 91, husband of Barbara Webb Bowman of 415 Carter Road, Anderson, SC died on Sunday, August 21, 2005 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on May 13, 1914, Mr. Bowman was the son of the late Zannie Earl Bowman, Sr. and the late Lula Prince Bowman. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after thirty-two years of service. He was also a member of Covenant Baptist Church.Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife, Barbara Webb Bowman of the home; and a brother, Oscar Lee Bowman of Iva, SC.In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister.The family is at the residence.
