We consider the Event Center to be a private retreat where families can come together in a peaceful space for reflection and connection. It’s a place where families and friends can enjoy light refreshments, casual lunches, or even full meals.

After a funeral or memorial service, it's common for loved ones to gather to share stories, create memories, and offer support. We understand that hosting such gatherings at home can be difficult, so we’ve designed our Family Center to provide a convenient, welcoming environment for this special time, without the stress of planning or preparing.

A Comfortable Space for Family Meals, Before or After a Funeral

The McDougald Event Center comfortably accommodates over 40 people for a full-course meal. It’s also an ideal venue for a more relaxed gathering.

We have partnerships with top-tier catering services to arrange meals, light lunches, or a variety of appetizers, but you are welcome to bring your own. The Family Center features a lovely kitchen for any last-minute preparations or finishing touches.

Our reasonable fees cover the use of the Event Center, assistance from our hostess, table linens, dishes, silverware, and cleaning services. Our goal is to relieve the stress from families while honoring the traditions that are important to us all.

We also offer reservations for public use of the facility, making it a perfect location for birthday parties, showers, and family events.
